Travelling 5. prosinec 2017
Africa, hooray! PART I

Our first stop was Marienplatz (Marian Square) with the oldest Marian church in Europe and its dominant Town Hall. An omnipresent gothic style in Munich’s modern city centre is, with no doubt, a very interesting element. In order to move swiftly from one place to another, we used the city’s underground.

Because my travel partners were my dad and my brother, we couldn’t miss out BMW Welt (BMW World) and the BMW Museum. These two sites are located in close proximity to the Munich’s Olympic Park. I must admit I am not that into cars, but these places enthral you, one can easily lose in time and space around. The extensive complex of BMW offers timelessness, futuristic architecture and last but not least many exhibitions.

We couldn’t leave Munich without seeing the Olympic Park. Its area surprised us. We could enjoy a few relaxing moments in beautiful and serene nature. On the top of that, the integral part of the whole area is a tower rising over the Olympic Stadium. Unfortunately, for the sake of the lack of time to catch our connecting flight, we had to skip its sightseeing. We will definitely comeback one day!
