Cars, Coffee & Watches

Title of this blogpost refers to the tradition with origin in sunny California. Cars & Coffee stands for regular but informal meetings of many owners of shiny and exotic sports cars who share the same passion.

How about the watches? What do they have in common with cars?

Wrist watches originally served just as devices measuring time, same as cars served just for the transportation. These days the fashion plays far greater role concerning these two sectors. Try to ask any girl or woman about the wrist watch. She will tell you that it became an indispensable part of any sophisticated outfit.

I guess most of men have the similar opinion concerning cars. You may like it or not, but I think that nothing fits better to a dark blue business suit than decent lines of a German saloon car. And what about tweed blazer in combination with some British classic sports car? Leather jacket, a pair of jeans and American classic. Just try to imagine - fashion and cars can sure work together.

Unfortunately, I do not live in California so I cannot participate in the real Cars & Coffee meetings. Never mind, I have similar plans today. I put on my favourite piece of design watch Loser Legacy Black Code by JVD, sit behind the wheel of my car and enjoy the contrast of noticeable black clock dial with silver aerodynamic body of 1995`s Frankfurt motor show superstar. And I will have a cup of a good Italian espresso, of course.
